First, let me start and say that anyone with his right mind would definitely say that the season was brilliant and by far one of the best written shows of all time.
The season has some phenomenal performances, from the main cast Nucky, Jimmy and Margaret Schroeder. and from the supporting cast Chalky, Nelson, Eli and Gillian Darmody. and from the guest cast Richard Harrow and Manny Horvitz. The cast without a doubt was pure perfection.
With some extraordinary writing, to name some episodes. "Two Boats and a Lifeguard", "A Dangerous Maid" and "Gimcrack and Bunkum".
Some beautiful cinematography in "Gimcrack and Bunkum" and "To The Lost".
And remarkable direction in "21", "Under God's Power She Flourishes" and "To The Lost".
Steve Buscemi in "Gimcrack and Bunkum" or "Under God's Power She Flourishes".
Michael Pitt in "To The Lost".
Michael Kenneth Williams in "Ourselves Alone".
Shea Whigham in "Gimcrack and Bunkum".
Kelly Macdonald in "Peg of Old".
Manny Horvitz in "Georgia Peaches" or "To The Lost"
